今日は2020年4月15日。本来ならば、オリンピック聖火リレーが、ここ大阪府羽曳野市を走る予定の日でした。オリンピックの日程は来年2021年７月23日から８月８日に決定しているようですが、聖火リレーの日程はまだ調整中のようですね。
また、大阪は五年後の2025年に万博を控えていますが、今年のドバイ万博が延期となり、現段階では来年に延期という提案が協議されているようです。それによって大阪万博も延期となるのか、予定通り2025年に開催されるのか。予定通りの開催を願うばかりです。
It's the 15th of April, 2020. Today was supposed to be the day when the Olympic torch relay was going to take place here in Habikino, Osaka! The dates of the actual games have been reset to the 23rd of July to the 8th of August, 2021, but the dates of the relay seem to be still under negotiation.
Also, Dubai Expo, which was supposed to take place this autumn, has been postponed, proposed to do so until the same time next year. Some fear that this might lead Osaka Expo 2025 to delay, as well. I really hope it happens in 2025 like it's scheduled to.
